Health Insurance Coverage for Adult Children
Beginning January 1, 2010, all health insurance policies and self-insured health plans of the state or of a county, city, village, town, or school district must provide coverage to eligible adult children up to age 27 if their parents request the coverage. OCI has promulgated emergency rule Ins 3.34 implementing these coverage provisions and published a list of frequently asked questions that address eligibility and other concerns that have been raised. Title Insurance Premium Survey
OCI recently completed a survey of title insurance premiums in Wisconsin. Insurers were asked to provide the average premium rate for owner, lender, and refinance policies for specific home value ranges on a county basis. Consumers can search on their county, type of policy and home value to get a basic idea of what the average premium rate that title insurers have collected for 2009. Survey Results
