Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Sean Dilweg conducted an informational hearing on the use of consumer credit information by insurance companies. The hearing, requested by members of the Wisconsin State Legislature, was conducted in the State Capitol on September 14, 2009. Participants in each of the three panels provided information from a diverse group of interests including consumers, legislators, insurance agents, and insurance companies. Materials from the hearing are included below. The hearing was carried by WisconsinEye and is available for viewing through their video archives at: wisconsineye.com/wisEye_programming/ARCHIVES-agencies_09.html. Commissioner Dilweg kept open the comment period for the hearing and invited other interested members of the public to submit information. The record will be kept open until October 14, 2009.
